Cherrokie Taylor
Cherrokie Taylor, RVT has been working in veterinary medicine for over 14 years and has experience in general practice, large animal, internal medicine, oncology, emergency, academia, and management.
She has worked in many positions ranging from kennel technician to receptionist to veterinary technology college program director! She has served as a North Carolina Association of Veterinary Technicians member and is very invested in helping preserve, educate, and contribute positively to the profession. She is also fear-free certified and is a licensed wildlife rehabilitator and the founder of Deep River Wildlife Rehabilitation. She has a passion for improving veterinary team dynamics, communication, efficiency and flow, as well as for continuing education and training. Always a teacher at heart! Cherrokie is excited to be part of the Oakheart team and can’t wait to help employees and the whole team become their very best!
