A tragic accident involving his beloved Dachshund lead him to switch career paths and meet his wife, Dr. Kristin Raboin. Dr. Shannon Raboin completed post-graduate classes and worked as a research assistant at Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine and then graduated from TUSVM as salutatorian in 2011. His internship in small animal internal and emergency medicine lead him to the Triangle. His professional focus is emergency and critical care medicine, but he also has a strong interest in wound management, cardiology, and endocrine and infectious diseases. He is a huge fan of the UFC and enjoys gardening and spending time with his girls.
