Dog Boarding

While your dog is boarding with Oak Heart Veterinary Hospital at South Saunders, they are taken care of as if they are our very own. As soon as we arrive in the morning the pets are first walked and then fed their morning meal. They will receive a total of three walks a day: before breakfast, afternoon, and in the evening in order to take care of any potty needs.

Throughout the day pets are housed in our spacious kennel runs. Sibling pets also have the option to board together in our larger runs if requested. All of our boarders have the ability to take part in our daily play sessions, group or individual, at a discounted rate. If your pet is on any form of medication our kennel staff will administer the medications while staying with us.

While your pet is in our care, our knowledgeable kennel staff will also be monitoring for anything that may be of concern. The staff take time to feed them dinner in the evening, love on them, and walk them one last time before tucking them in for the night.

Cat Boarding

While your cat is boarding with Oak Heart Veterinary at South Saunders they are housed in our spacious and comfortable cat condos. All boarders receive morning and evening meals and will always have access to water and clean litter boxes. If your pet is on any form of medication our kennel staff will gladly administer the medications for you while your pet is boarding.

Along with any medications your pet will also receive any extra attention they will allow us to give them! Boarders are checked multiple times throughout the day and their private condo areas are inspected to ensure that all spills or messes are cleaned up promptly.

Daycare

Our drop off daycare service includes AM and PM play sessions daily. Play sessions begin at 10:00 am and end at 4:00 pm. If your pet is unable to take part in our group play sessions, we also offer an individual play option. Our individual play sessions include two 15 minute play sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. During the individual play sessions, your pet is taken out alone by our kennel staff and entertained, cuddled, and loved like one of our own.

Although we do not incorporate any toys into our group play sessions, owners are more than welcome to bring any balls or toys that their pets might be fond of to use for their individual play sessions. Along with our large outdoor play area we also have two large climate controlled indoor play areas, so during times of inclement weather your pet will always be able to play and have a great time.

These services are also offered to pets that are boarding with us at a discounted rate.
